Lenten Fish Fry - Fridays during Lent (excluding Good Friday)Our Council, in cooperation with Council 12497, is hosting our fifth annual Lenten Fish Fry. The fish fries will be held on February 19 and 26,as well as March 5, 12, 19, and 26. Dinner will be served from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Council 2191’s club (Riverview Banquets), 1117 N. Washington (HWY 25), Batavia. There will be no dinner on Good Friday, May 2. The menu will include baked and fried fish, deep fried shrimp, mostaccioli with red sauce (no meat), potatoes, tossed salad, cole slaw, dinner rolls, and coffee. There will also be a cash bar. The price for a delicious meal with friends and neighbors is only $12 for adults and $6 for children under ten years of age. Although reservations are not required, parties of eight or more should call Jim Gehring at 630-208-9453.

Council 2191 serves the communities of Batavia, Geneva and Elburn. Our members belong to the following parishes: Council meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM at the Columbian Club on Route 25 in Batavia.
